The Story

Craft as a
way of thinking.

CFS Woodshop started as a way to step away from the screen — a side hustle that doubles as a mental reset from a demanding career in tech. There's something grounding about working with your hands: measuring twice, cutting once, and watching raw lumber become something useful and lasting.

Every piece is built with the same mindset I bring to systems design: efficiency, precision, and a focus on getting things right. I'm not a factory — I'm one person with a shop, a cut list, and a commitment to quality.

Based locally and sold locally. If you see it, it was made by hand, right here.

Precision
Every cut, joint, and finish is measured and intentional. No shortcuts — just clean work that holds up over time.
Simplicity
Designs that are clean and functional. Nothing unnecessary, nothing overdone — built to complement any space.
Intention
Each piece is built because I want to build it well. This is a small operation that takes pride in every board that leaves the shop.
How It Works

From lumber to your door.

01
Design
Every build starts with a cut list and a clear plan. Dimensions are optimized to minimize waste and maximize strength.
02
Source
I select lumber for quality — tight grain, minimal knots where it matters, appropriate species for the use case.
03
Build
Hand-cut, assembled, sanded, and finished one piece at a time. No production line — just the work.
04
Deliver
Local pickup or delivery. Cash-friendly. No complicated checkout — just a direct transaction between maker and buyer.
